Here's a great opportunity to deepen your understanding of the art of fiction writing. Each of these half-day
workshops focuses on one essential aspect of the storyteller’s craft. Choose the one (or more) that covers
an area where you’d most like to build your skills. Whether you’re writing a novel, short stories, or a memoir, you’ll come away with ideas that will take your writing to the next level.

I-A. Who’s Who in Your Story: Creating characters who come alive on the page

Workshop A under each date is 10 am – 1 pm. Workshop B is 2 pm – 5 pm.

A romp through the history of the mystery genre, from Edgar Allan Poe (and before) through the Golden Age of Agatha Christie and Raymond to today's cozies and hardboiled novels. Thrills and chills galore!

I will be assisting mystery novelist RITA LAKIN in teaching this entertaining and informative class. Visiting authors will talk about the earlier writers who inspired them.
